Published June 4, 2020 by

Crooked I passed on the beat for 2Pac‘s 1996 single “How Do U Want It” ft. KC & Jojo.

During an interview with On-Air idiot show, Slaughterhouse’s Crooked I revealed he passed on the beat for 2Pac’s “How Do U Want It”, which was produced by Johnny “J”. “I sat in the office at Virgin and I was like, ‘Nah, I’m cool with that. and then a couple months later 2 million sold'”.

The beat ended up going to 2Pac and it made it on his 1996 double album All Eyez on Me featuring K-Ci & JoJo. The song peaked at No. 1 on the Billbord Hot 100.
