For the first time in history, Netflix is set to release their first music competition. The competition has been revealed to revolve around undiscovered hip-hop artists as they strive for success within the industry. Judges for the saga include Grammy award winning artist Cardi B, Chance the Rapper, and T.I.
Unlike most Netflix specials, the series will air over multiple weeks. The October 9th debut will only include four episodes, and primarily focus on auditions. The following episodes airing on October 16th will cover cyphers, music videos, and rap battles. There is no doubt that this is a major deal for the already popular streaming service.
