Cam’ron and 50 Cent Revisit 2007 Feud, Reflect on the ‘Devious’ Betrayal

Published December 22, 2024 by

Cam’ron and 50 Cent took back to the past recently when Cam asked 50 how he managed to pull off a “sly” move during their late 2000s feud.

In another epic moment, while throwing jibes on Cam’s YouTube show Talk With Flee, Cam recalled how in 2007, 50 brought out Jim Jones and Juelz Santana at one of his shows in New York City – which Cam, as part of the whole Dan issue, interpreted as betrayal from his fellow Dipset members.

“We had inner issues in Dipset, but no doubt anybody knew. So when me and [50] were at it, you got Dipset members learning for your show, I thought, ‘This guy’s smart, I wouldn’t even have thought to reach out to [Tony] Yayo or Lloyd Banks,'” he maintains.

Cam had hopes of working through whatever internal issue then existed within Dipset before it spilled out before public eyes, but seeing Jim and Juelz on stage with 50, all of that changed.

“I knew it was all falling apart when they hit the stage,” Cam stated. “It was a checkmate moment.” “I thought, ‘This guy’s devious,’ but I actually respected it. I liked it [laughs].”

Then, Cam asked 50 how he managed to get Jim and Juelz on board.

“I just took the shot because I wasn’t sure if Jim would go for it,” 50 laughed. “I said, ‘We like Jimmy better than you, anyway, Cam!’ You watch and see how he responds. When he said yes, I knew we had him.”
