J. Cole was supposed to be on Big Sean’s ‘Detroit 2’ album

Published September 7, 2020 by

Big Sean and J. Cole were working on something for ‘Detroit 2’

During a Q&A with his fans on Twitter, Big Sean revealed that J. Cole and himself were recording a track, but it was left unfinished. Sean wanted Cole on his Detroit 2 album, but hopefully we see the track somewhere else.

Me n J Cole was working on something but it didn’t get finished. That’s my bro tho for sure 🤞🏾 https://t.co/SNcHhWQYO3

“24 Karats of Gold” was a song that appeared on Sean’s 2012 Detroit mixtape, featuring J. Cole, so it would’ve only been right if they came back and gave us something new.
