Big Boi’s first rap name was Black Dog

Big Boi originally went by the moniker Black Wolf.

Before Antwan André Patton was famously known as Big Boi, he originally went by the moniker Black Dog before settling on Big Boi.

When OutKast first started out they went by the moniker 2 Shades Deep and Andre 3000 was known in the group as “Black Wolf”. Big Boi confirmed this in a 2012 Tweet & Instagram post.
