50 Cent Mocks Floyd Mayweather After Lil Baby’s Gambling Confession

Published January 21, 2025 by

The rapper takes a jab at Mayweather while commenting on Baby’s $8 million loss

50 Cent has once again aimed at Floyd Mayweather, this time in response to Lil Baby’s eye-popping confession about his gambling losses. During an appearance on Lil Yachty’s A Safe Place podcast, Baby revealed that he once lost $8 million in a single day at a casino, a claim that quickly caught 50 Cent’s attention.

The rapper shared a clip from the interview on Instagram, commenting, “Nah these young [ninja emoji] crazy 8 million gambling. I thought only Floyd do shit like that.” He added with his signature humor, “LOL come out the joint looking distraught. I’m just glad he didn’t kill nobody.”

Despite the public jabs, 50 Cent has repeatedly expressed that his relationship with Mayweather remains complicated but cordial. On Andrew Schulz’s Flagrant podcast, 50 Cent reflected on their long history, saying, “He’s still my guy, man. We’ve been friends since ’02. Even when I fight with him, I don’t hate him. That’s my boy. We just don’t get along ‘cause I don’t need him.”

However, 50 Cent made headlines earlier this year for publicly criticizing Mayweather after the boxer defended Diddy amid sex trafficking allegations. Mayweather has yet to respond to the latest jabs from his long-time friend turned foe.
