Dancer, Toosie, created the “Toosie Slide” dance in less than an hour — roughly 45-50 minutes — before sending it off to Drake. Toosie, Teo, Ayo and Hiii Key were all together when Toosie received the song from Drake, according their interview with Complex News.
When Toosie received the record, it was unfinished and only had the hook on it. With a “house full of dancers,” Toosie saw it as no challenge to create the dance, confident in their creation.
The song and dance aren’t meant to be hard to do. Drake makes the dance steps simple and Toosie does as well. If you care to add steps, you can do so.
