J. Cole graduated from St. John’s University in 2007, but he didn’t receive his diploma until 2015 due to an overdue library book.
J. Cole attended St. Johns University on an academic scholarship, he graduated from St. John’s University in Queens, NY, in May 2007 with a 3.8 GPA and Magna Cum Laude Honors and a degree in communication and business.
J. Cole returned to his college to perform exclusively for the students and alumni, that same night he received his college diploma in hand. He didn’t receive his diploma in 2007 due to an overdue library book. “I owed money for a library book that I didn’t turn in,” Cole told the Village Voice. J. Cole also met his wife Melissa at St. John’s.
