Makonnen Kamali Sheran aka ILOVEMAKONNEN was bron in 1989 in Los Angeles. He got his start with Mike Will Made-It and later Metro Boomin’ and Sonny Digital. In 2014 it was all about “Going Up on a Tuesday” thanks to ILoveMakonnen and Drake and the remix to Tuesday. He signed to OVO in 2016.
He later came out on social media as gay in 2017 with the statement, “As a fashion icon, I can’t tell u about everybody else’s closet, I can only tell u about mine, and it’s time I’ve come out.
