Kendrick showed some admiration for Drizzy
Kendrick Lamar recently stirred up the internet when he appeared to diss Drake and J. Cole on “Like That,” a record off Future and Metro Boomin’s latest album, We Don’t Trust You.
Fans were quick to scoop an old interview of K Dot praising Drizzy for supporting his musical come-up. “Drake is a real good dude, first and foremost,” Kendrick says. “He heard my music probably a year back, reached out and just gave me respect on it… It was a mutual feeling for us, us appreciating the music.”
He further opened up on how the Young Money flagship rapper called him up for his tour when K Dot’s career was still on the rise and how the relationship was characterized by a “great bond.”
