50’s ‘Candy Shop’ visuals hits major milestone

50 Cent has just earned another great honor this week as he showcased his continued success throughout this year. As reported by Billboard, his renowned music video for “Candy Shop,” which features Olivia, is now at over a billion views on YouTube. The track is taken from his 2005 album The Massacre, and in it, he joins his 2003 song “In Da Club” in achieving this milestone.

After its release, “Candy Shop” ruled the Billboard Hot 100 for nine weeks, making it his third No. 1 single in just two years, after “In Da Club” and “21 Questions,” featuring Nate Dogg. Lil Scrappy, Young Buck, and Lloyd Banks made cameos in the sultry music video, which helped to solidify its legacy.
